Woman Arrested for Abusing 911
On December 20 in Dayton, Ohio a woman was arrested for abusing the 911 emergency call system, as well as being found in possession of the illegal drug marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Lisa L. Brewer, a 43 year old resident of Clark County, made repeated calls to the 911 emergency system, reporting that an assault crime was being committed in her home in the Park Layne subdivision. She stated several times that her daughter was being assaulted by an unnamed person. Authorities who arrived on the scene however, found that no violent crime had been committed at the residence.
Brewer made repeated calls to the emergency system eventually making her location apparent to authorities who were dispatched to question her.
As she was questioned she became violent and was placed under arrest. During processing at the Clark County Jail she was found to have been in possession of an illegal drug as well as paraphernalia.
