Women Arrested for Disorderly Conduct
Police officials say that on Saturday, December 18 they were contacted by mall security at the Dayton Mall to assist in detaining or breaking up a group of disorderly people dressed as Santa Claus.
When they arrived on the scene police officers say that they found a large group of people dressed as Santa who were participating in an event known as "Santarchy," in which the participants dressed as Santa and visited public places to sing carols and hand out gifts.
Two women were arrested at the scene for public intoxication and intoxicated disorderly conduct.
The two women will face criminal charges and could face jail time as well as heavy fines for disorderly conduct.
